About Us
Gortexstil Ltd. was founded in 2012 as a small subcontractor in the production of men's and women's knitwear. The company is located on an area of approximately 500 sqm in Kocherinovo, Kyustendil region of Bulgaria, just eight kilometers from Blagoevgrad. Over the years, Gortexstil Ltd. has transformed into a boutique factory, focusing on establishing a fully equipped, modern production facility with excellent working conditions, a dedicated team of highly skilled professionals, and a low employee turnover rate.
Currently, Gortexstil Ltd. successfully carries out the full production of high-quality knitwear, with a monthly capacity of approximately 3,500 pieces, while maintaining its boutique character and impeccable quality.
PRODUCTION
The production organization is structured into three specialized manufacturing units.
Knitting Unit
The knitting process is carried out on modern, computer-controlled knitting machines, STOLL 530 HP – 12 fine.
The machines are equipped with tenth-fine needles, allowing a knitting fineness range from 8 to 14 fine, depending on the yarn thickness and the number of threads.
The production capacity of the knitting department is approximately 3,500 pieces per month.
Garment Manufacturing Unit
The sewing department has a well-structured and organized production line with a monthly capacity of
approximately 3,500 pieces. The unit is well-equipped with a wide range of machines, including:
● Flatbed machines
● Chain stitch machines
● Overlock machines
● Overlock pico machines
● Pont machines
● Buttonhole machines
● Button sewing machines
● Linking machines (Complett – 8, 10, 14, and 16 fine)
● OV machine
The specialists in the sewing department have experience working with fully fashioned garments, cut-to-pattern designs, and the production of accessories such as hats, gloves, scarves, and more.
Our company operates in two main directions
● Developing collections and our own brand.
● OEM knitwear production, where we are not only working with current partners but also
seeking new collaborations to bring their designs to life.
